Webinar about complaint mechanism

Trade unions and NGOs from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal spoke today during a webinar about the use of the complaints mechanism of the Dutch convenant for sustainable clothing and textiles. They did this at the initiative of CNV International, FNV Mondiaal and NGO Arisa.

A similar meeting was organized last week for trade unions from Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia. It is important that employees can properly raise a complaint and that trade unions know how they can support employees in this. By discussing this subject with each other, the participating trade unions were able to learn from each other.
