Throughout 2023, we worked with our international trade union partners to promote fair work through social dialogue, focusing on labour rights in value chains especially of textiles, palm oil, minerals, cane sugar and cashew, including gender equality, and especially in Africa youth employability
The war in Ukraine created a rise in inflation and an energy crisis. This affected workers and employers across the globe. The rising cost of living greatly impacted many vulnerable workers, who were already having trouble making ends meet.
This video provides a 2 minute overview of our results achieved together with our partner organisations in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Together we continue to move ahead, striving for 100% Fair Work.
